City of Refuge: Guatemala

Farm · Community Feeding

In its beginning phase, the Guatemala City of Refuge already operates a farm that feeds about 200 people every day.

~200
people fed daily by the farm

The City of Refuge in Guatemala is in its beginning phase, and IMI asks one thing above all: keep it in prayer.

Even at this early stage, the model is already working. The City of Refuge farm in Guatemala feeds about 200 people every day, proof that agriculture changes culture long before the last building goes up. As in Honduras, the plan is a self-sustaining, income-generating Christian community wrapped around care for vulnerable children, with the farm funding the ministry rather than the other way around.

If the Honduras campus shows what a mature City of Refuge looks like, Guatemala shows how one begins: with land, a harvest, and a community that eats because of it.
