Our content

The text, photographs, stories, graphics, and design on this site belong to IMI or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to any page, quote reasonable excerpts with attribution, and print pages for personal or church use. Please do not republish our content wholesale, use our photographs of children for any purpose, or present our material in a way that implies IMI endorses you, without our written permission first.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and in good faith. Do not:

• Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the site or its hosting.
• Scrape the site to build mailing lists or to harvest information about the children and survivors we serve.
• Misrepresent yourself as IMI or as acting on our behalf.
• Use the site to transmit anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.

Giving and third-party processors

Donation and sponsorship buttons on this site link to third-party payment processors — GB Gateway, PayPal, and Church Center (Planning Center). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and your transaction happens on their systems, not ours. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and gifts are final except as provided by the applicable processor's refund policies; if you believe a gift was made in error, contact usand we will work with you in good faith to make it right.

Like most charities, IMI applies gifts to the stated purpose where possible and, where a project is fully funded, to where the need is greatest.

External links

The site links to outside websites (payment processors, ministry partners, Google's policies). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

We work to keep everything on this site accurate and current, but the site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Statistics and field reports reflect our best information at the time of publication and may change as the work grows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMI is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
