In Peru, the City of Refuge vision is taking its first concrete step. Land has been purchased, and construction is planned for a four-story building: a medical clinic on the first floor, with rental apartments on the floors above.
The design is the IMI model in a single building. The clinic serves the community’s most pressing need, while the apartments generate the rental income that sustains the work, self-funding ministry from day one. IMI describes it plainly as “the first step towards creating a full City of Refuge in this area.”
A dedicated Peru Medical Clinic fund supports this project. Every gift moves the building, and the city that will grow around it, closer to opening its doors.
