Join Tom Stamman and the IMI team for a short-term mission trip to the City of Refuge near Comayagua, Honduras, August 24–26. Honduras trips are a great fit for first-timers, families with young children, and older travelers, and there is meaningful work for every skill set: construction, agriculture, tutoring, sports, music, art, evangelism, and simply spending time with the children.

To join a trip, complete the Short-Term Missions Form, then email your flight itinerary and a copy of your passport to cityofrefugehonduras@gmail.com and send your deposit through the giving portal. See the Mission Trips page for the full six-step process and downloadable trip resources.

Year-round

The City of Refuge never closes

The calendar above lists the trips IMI has scheduled — but the campus in Honduras hosts teams and individuals throughout the year, and Missouri work trips are arranged as projects come up. Families, church groups, and solo travelers regularly plan trips on dates that fit their own lives.

To plan one, email cityofrefugehonduras@gmail.comwith the dates you have in mind and the size of your group. The field team will confirm availability, and from there the process is the same six steps every traveler follows — application, flights, passport copy, deposit, resources, and prayer.

Honduras trips are a great fit for first-timers, families with young children, and older travelers. Missouri trips lean practical: construction, landscaping, and cleaning. Either way, there is a place for the skills you already have.

Pick your dates. We'll be there.
